Description
This is an early 19th century Currier and Ives print entitled ” THE COVE OF CORK. “. It is hand colored and shows a harbor, ships, buildings and people. This would have been a popular picture with the many Irish immigrants of the early 1800s. It probably is from 1840 to 1850. The sight line is 13 1/4 wide and 9 1/4 inches tall. The frame is a mahogany veneer with a couple of small missing chips. The print has a couple of brown water stains. # P004
