This is a bronze Masonic medal commemorating ” St JOHNS COMMANDERY No 4 K T  SEMI CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY  JUNE 1819  STATIONED AT PHILADA.” with a faded inscription of Michael Tilley ?  The face has a shield and vines and is embossed “St JOHNS COMMANDERY NO 4 MASONIC KNIGHTS TEMPLAR PHILIDELPHIA PENNA ”   The weight of the medal is 39.70 grams and it is 4 1/2 centimeters in diameter.

This medal commemorates the 50th anniversary of Philadelphia s Masonic Knights Templar. The medal describes this organization as St JOHNS COMMANDERY, and perhaps played a central role in the United States revolution.
